Albo housing association, who manages more than 4,000 public housing, is starting the rollout of charge points in two departments with ECdrive as operator.
Albo is the culmination of a merger of Horsen’s two largest housing associations, and they stand strong and competitive with housing and services in the area. The association has roots as far back as 1938.
“We use our capital to maintain, improve, renew and build more healthy homes for ordinary people. We think that makes the most sense.”
The agreement with ECdrive on chargepoints underlines Albo’s desire to improve and renew their attractiveness and value for the properties.
The charging stations will not affect the finances of the housing association or the residents, as ECdrive’s solution is 100% user-paid with consumption at the charging stations. In this way, those who will not be using the chargers will not be required to pay for them.
There is open access to the charging stations, so residents can use them freely and choose for themselves whether they want to pay via the app or credit card with the QR code. It also allows guests to easily charge their car when visiting.
Advantages of green properties
The establishment of the charging stations contributes to the green sustainable profile, which many properties take great advantages from.
Properties that take part in the green transition can feel the impact on the rent level and the property’s selling price.
Taking part in the green initiatives can therefore contribute to increased value and also expands the association’s services for the residents.
