ECdrive sponsors a large golf tournament in Smørum

ECdrive has been chosen by Denmark’s largest golf club, Smørum Golf club, to be a co-sponsor of the Smørum Ladies Open 2022. The Smørum Ladies Open is a golf tournament for young, professional and female national team players from all over Europe and has a prize of 60,000 euros. Smørum Golf club is proud to have ECdrive as a sponsor:

Keld elaborates that Smørum Golfklub takes great care in choosing the right sponsors, as they must fit in with the golf club’s concept and profile. ECdrive is the right sponsor for them, as Smørum Golf Club has set itself the goal of achieving the 17 world goals as the first golf club in Denmark before 2023 is over. Here, electric cars are an important factor in being able to meet the world goals, which cannot be avoided in the fight to protect the environment.

Golfers from the elite at Smørum Golf club

At Smørum Golf club, they have a good beginner’s concept when it comes to golf and the club has no less than 150 juniors in training to this day. The golf club does a great elite job, which shows through their golfers. Within the last 10 years, female golfers from Smørum Golf club can proudly say that they have become Danish team champions no less than seven times and European champions twice. Male golfers from Smørum were also double Danish champions in 2020 and won bronze at the EC in 2021.
